Jolanta Rimkutė and Ieva Ševiakovaitė
(Vilnius, Lithuania)

Jolanta Rimkutė and Ieva Ševiakovaitė were both born in 1973.
Both designers graduated from the Vilnius’ Art Academy and earned bachelor’s degrees. After two months of working experience at the Lecoanet & Hemant Fashion House, they are both continuing their studies to achieve a master’s degree.
These young designers have been presenting their jointly created collections for 4 years. 
At the International Fashion Festival “In VOGUE Vilnius ’97” Jolanta Rimkute and Ieva Seviakovaite’s collection titled “Nocturnal” won the Grand Prix – the Golden Button. Moreover, they were given the possibility to show their winning collections at the Pret-a-porter Women’s Clothing Exhibition in Paris. 
At the International Festival “In VOGUE Vilnius`98” their joint collection “In Wanderings”, inspired by the image and philosophy of a nomad, was also awarded the Grand Prix – the Golden Button.
This year Jolanta Rimkutė and Ieva Ševiakovaitė are participating as guests. The designers together with jeweler Stasys Chailov will present their collective project “From the East to the West”, consisting of 26 female ensembles. A very important accent of the collection is jewelry.
The motto of the collection: spanning from the east to the west and from morning to evening following purpose. It is a combination of Eastern and Western cultures.
Two ranges of colors dominate the collection: gold, covering all tints from light yellow to brown, and silver– from gray to black.
