In VOGUE '97

In 1997, "In VOGUE Vilnius" International Fashion Festival will take place at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre entirely. During the opening ceremony, the audience will be offered to experience an unforgettable mysterya of sound, movement and sight. This is expected to be one of the most enchanting events of "In VOGUE Vilnius ‘97".

Nina Ricci, Olivier Lapidus and Lecoanet Hemant are going to be the guest-stars of this year’ festival. The Grand Prix of "In VOGUE Vilnius ‘97" - the GOLDEN BUTTON award - will be contended this year among not less than 27 pret-a-porter designers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Ukraine and Russia.

A wife of the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Mrs. Nijolė Vagnorienė, has kindly agreed to be the honorary patroness of "In VOGUE Vilnius ‘97" International Fashion Festival. She has not yet decided what will be her special award and to whom it will be awarded.

Invitations to cover "In VOGUE Vilnius ‘97" International Fashion Festival were sent to some 200 local and international media organisations. Accreditation of journalists is still in progress, although the organisers of the Festival can already predict not less than 150 media organisations posting their representatives to "In VOGUE Vilnius ‘97".
